Using the O2 answerphone
O2 call their answerphone "Voicemail 901", but they offer contract customers an enhanced version called "Voicemail 902"
Voicemail 901
By default, the answerphone rings your phone to tell you (in a recorded announcement) that you have a message waiting. You can choose to be told by SMS message instead.
The Voicemail 901 access number is 901 from a O2 phone. Calls to voicemail are at standard call charge rates, and are from inclusive minutes if available. The default PIN code is 8705

Voicemail 902
Voicemail 902 is only available to contract customers. It gives increased strage capacity and retention time, message forwarding and a fax mailbox. It appears that the facilities offered are similar to those of the Orange answerphone.The Voicemail 902 access number is 902 from a O2 phone, but to set it up, you first have to ask your service provider to give you a mialbox number, which will be sent to you by text message. then you call 1770. Calls to voicemail are at standard call charge rates, and are from inclusive minutes if available. There is no default PIN code: you will prompted for a PIN when you first use the service.
