Comment: I have foolishly bid for a new unlocked never used handset on ebay. It was originally an upgrade for a contract customer but was never used. Will I be able to use it on Pay As You Go with any network I want?

Comment: While there is not evidence that would satisfy science for mobile phones being a health hazard, there are plenty of people who are experiencing noticable effects from the radiation produced by mobile handsets. I can certainly testify to this: unusual tight and itching like sensations particularly on the scalp, rapid nerve twitching, blurred vision and unusual headaches. These are some of the effects I've noticed from using mobiles and I've spoken to other people who say they have noticed similar symptoms. Therefore, it would seem prudent to protect oneself by some kind of shielding on the phone and minimising phone usage. It should be the onus of mobile phone manufacturers to better design their phones to shield the user from the radiation. Obviously, there needs to be a certain level to maintain communication with the base stations, but at the moment it seems to be too high. At least the user needs to be better protected in my opinion.

Comment: basically, i'm 17 and not 18 until June. i know you have to be 18 years of age to take a contact out but i was wondering whether one of my parents could take the contract out in their bank account until i am old enough? then would it be possible to change the billing acount to mine? this would be on the o2 network

Comment: I have read your web site with interest and especially the section with regard to roaming in the US. I currently use UK2Abroad (http://www.uk2abroad.com ) and it's great - 10p/minute (plus T-mobile's local SIM charge) to receive calls and 12p/min (plus T-mobile's local SIM charge) to make calls.
Good work on the site.
John
