Orange Value Promise Tariffs
You can choose to be charged on the basis of most competitors' tariffs (not every aspect is perfectly matched, but it's broadly in line with the matched tariff). Orange call this the Orange Value Promise. This means you can choose to be charged by Orange on more or less any of the tariffs listed in the costs section.
Note that when calls to other mobiles are made, the OVP makes Orange-Orange calls "Same Network", regardless of the network whose tariff is being matched.

O2 Business Plus OVP
This replaced Business First OVP from 1st June 2003.
Costs are the same at all times of the day or week.
Orange care is no longer free, but can be purchased for £5.00 per month.

T-Mobile off-peak times
T-Mobile off-peak times run from 6pm - 7am, but on OVP, they run from 7pm - 7am.
Orange equivalent to '3' tariffs
Select 500 and Select 750 were the equivalent '3' tariffs available on Orange.
They are not generally available and Orange often denied their existence.
If you wish to move to either of these tariffs, you must have a phone which is on an Orange contract and out of its minimum term.
Stop Press! Orange currently seem to be inconsistent in letting people join Select tariffs. At present, it is not clear whether a proper OVP of 3 tariffs will be made available.
Contact Orange and ask for a PAC because you wish to leave and move to '3'. Their Customer Relations Department should then offer you the two choices. (If you ask them if you can transfer to either of the '3' tariffs, they will say that they don't exist.)
Sometimes they will tell you that they do not match 3 tariffs. If this happens, ask for your PAC. Orange may later phone you back to offer Select 500 or Select 750 with a cheap upgrade. If they don't, you have lost nothing: the PAC expires if you don't use it.
Out of inclusive minutes, the costs are the same as Orange 'Your Plan'.
