Other Orange Tariffs
As well as the PAYG and contract tariffs, Orange have offered a range of other price plans, most of which are no longer available.
Orange Value Promise
You can choose to be charged on the basis of most competitors tariffs (not every aspect is perfectly matched, but it’s broadly in line with the matched tariff). Orange call this the Orange Value Promise. This means you can choose to be charged by Orange on more or less any of the tariffs listed in the costs section.
Orange Text Saver
For a yearly payment of £19.99, you can send five free SMS messages each day, you get a one-off £5 credit to your account. This service is no longer available to purchase.
Talk Saver
For a yearly charge of £19.99, two people on Orange PAYG tariffs can talk to each other for less. Call costs per minute are: 8p/4p for Choose your own off-peak; 10p/2p for Talk and save and 8p per min for the flat rate tariff.

Group Saver
Orange group saver is available as an add-on with all PAYG tariffs except ‘Out Here’.
When you purchase a group saver pack for an annual charge of £19.99, you and one other person can register to join the group. To add other members to the group, more voucher packs must be bought.
Discounts apply to calls and text messages sent to any member of the group.
You get 20% discount off text messages at any time and 20% discount off calls Monday to Friday. At weekends calls are only 2p per minute to other group saver members.
Virgin Mobile OVP
From the 1st May 2003, Orange freephone calls on VM OVP, are no longer free. Calls are charged at the standard call rate.
From 1st February 2004, you can no longer switch to this tariff on Orange. Virgin still offer it, though!
