Orange offers a range of price plans. In fact they offer the widest range of all the networks.

Contract Talk Plans

Details of the charges for Orange contract Talk plans are listed on the Orange : Costs : Contract page. "Orange Care" is a warranty and insurance against loss, damage or theft of your Orange mobile phone.

Orange 3G

To get Orange 3G, you need to buy a 3G phone. These are available as contract or PAYG.

You can send video messages or make video calls on your phone. Choose a bundle, or pay as you use and it will cost you 30p a minute to make a call to another Orange mobile, or 50p if you're making it to another network. The cost to send a video message is 50p.

Line two

As well as the contract "Talk" plans, you can choose to have a second (equal or lower) price plan as line two on the same handset, and enjoy a £5 reduction on the line rental for that tariff. This has its own phone number, and can be billed separately. Other charges are as for the tariff you choose, but for technical reasons you cannot use line two for fax, data or SMS.

Talkshare

You can have more than one Orange phone on a single account, sharing the inclusive talktime, and the lower price for charged-for calls. It costs £12.50 per month per additional handset, in addition to the line rental for the first handset. You can only have Talkshare phones on Talk120 and above.

Family from Orange

If you have two Orange mobiles or more, at least one of which must be on a monthly contract, you can have all your phones on the same account.

The Family from Orange account can have a maximum of four contract and four PAYG phones on it.

PAYG members get 50 free texts every month and contract phone members get an extra 50% free airtime, based on the inclusive minutes in their contract.

Their is no roll-over on these texts and minutes.

Top-ups for the PAYG phones are charged to the family account holder's bill and must be made either weekly or monthly. The minimum top-up allowed is £2.50 a week. (Max £7.50 a week).

When credit has run out, PAYG members on the family account can make two free 30 second calls.

Orange Value Promise (OVP)

You can choose to be charged on the basis of many competitors tariffs (not every aspect is perfectly matched, but it's broadly in line with the matched tariff). Orange call this the Orange Value Promise. This means you can choose to be charged by Orange on several of the tariffs listed in the costs section, and to switch between tariffs without changing networks.

Pay the same at any time with Orange PAYG.

Use and Pay

Choose to be charged a monthly line rental for each phone and then pay for what you use, with a discount for more users

Alternatively you can pay for inclusive minutes and share them between all users.
