Orange ringfenced tariffs
As Orange has introduced new tariffs over time, existing users can choose to stick with the old arrangments, even though they are no longer available to join.
This does not apply with the old £50.00 top up for 'choose your own off-peak' PAYG tariff.
As these are often more favourable than what is currently on offer, we show information about them here for reference, even though you can't join them now! It is possible to transfer an account to someone else, so if you are keen to be on an old tariff, you may be able to find someone who is willing to transfer it across to you. If you do this, you do not have to take their old phone number as well: you can port an existing number when you take the account over.

A second price plan as line two on the same handset, and enjoy a £5 reduction on the line rental.
WAP services
Orange WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) services allow you to access information about the weather, sport, money etc. It works in a similar way to using a computer to connect to the internet, but all you need is a WAP compatible mobile phone.
Calls to 0800 Freephone Numbers
Orange do not charge for voice calls to 0800 numbers (except ones they've identified as calling card services).
Another tariff suits you better?
You can choose to be charged on the basis of most competitors tariffs (not every aspect is perfectly matched, but it's broadly in line with the matched tariff). Orange call this the Orange Value Promise. This means you can choose to be charged by Orange on more or less any of the tariffs listed in the costs section - except the ones on this page! You can only have OVP on line 1, but could have an Orange tariff for Line 2.
Orange Everytime
Orange Everytime has no off-peak times.
Talkshare Plus
If you have more than one mobile phone user in the house, this shares an account with 200 minutes per month of shared call time between them. Up to four people can share and calls between sharers are always charged at off peak rates. Messages between sharers are charged at 5p per message. On the down side, charges to mobiles other than Orange are more expensive than on other talk tariffs.
High Speed Data
Using suitable hardware, you can connect at up to 28.8 Kbps by dialup. Orange have different charges for calls at 19.2 or 28.8 Kbps, but data calls at 14.4 Kbps are charged at standard data rates. Note the special data tariff is no longer available.
