easyMobile

easyMobile uses the T-Mobile network which means that coverage is the same as for T-Mobile.

Unlike Virgin Mobile, cross-network calls are no more expensive, and call diversion is available, unusual with a PAYG phone. Charges are very similar to other virtual networks, but you must take care with the extra charges which you may well incur.

Line rental

If you spend a minimum of £5.00 every three months there is no line rental, but there are quite a few little snags.

Spend less than £5.00 every three months, and you will be charged 75p per month. We believe that this is an additional 75p per month on top of what you spend on calls. This means that if you spend a total of £4.99 in three months, you will be charged an additional £2.25, taken out of your account balance.

Top-up fees

If you top up by calling customer services, there is a 75p fee for topping up. If you top up on the easyMobile web site, the fee is 25p. No other mobile network charges you for paying them!

Auto Refill

The other option is to “auto refill”. You can set up auto refill free of charge and whenever your credit falls to £2.00, you will be automatically topped up with either £10.00, £20.00 or £30.00, the amount agreed by you.

Overdraft fees

If your credit runs out, your credit will go negative. easyMobile will email and text you when your credit reaches £8.00, £4.00 and zero. If your account becomes overdrawn by more than £10, or for longer than three days, you will be disconnected and charged a £5.00 disconnection fee.

Invoices are £2 each if posted, but free if downloaded from the Easymobile web site.

If you don’t like the service and want to cancel, you can get your credit balance back, subject to a £5 fee - quite reasonable: other networks don't let you do this at all!

Services

easyMobile offers voicemail, call diversion, call waiting, call hold, group call (conference calling by another name), group text, WAP (but only by dial-up, no GPRS) and international roaming.
