This is the newest of the networks.

Because 3 is a UMTS network, the handsets are more complex, more capable, and much more expensive than most other mobile phone handsets.

They are charging for voice calls, video calls and picture messages on a slightly different basis from other networks, and seem to expect that their customers will subscribe to additional information services.

SIM only

You can purchase a SIM only card for your existing 3 mobile. You then can buy a top-up and start using your phone.

The SIM only card costs £9.99 from “3” stores, Superdrug or Selfridges.
